Iceland has a lot to offer when it comes to geology. Volcanos, geothermal hot-springs, clay-pits, steam-vents and volcanic landscape.
Next door to Reykjavik lays Reykjanes with large lava fields, volcanos and sea cliffs with visible tectonic plate boundaries. A visit to Reykjanes gives you a unique opertunity to see the forces of nature shaping the volcanic lndscape.
The Blue Lagoon is also conveniently located at Reykjanes and a soothing spa in The Lagoon can therefore be included in this tour. Ask for details.
You will travel in a 4-wheel-drive minivan that is as comfortable on the main road as it’s able to take you to the rugged and senic highland of Iceland. We always travel in a group of maximum 12 people and every trip is a relaxed and enjoyable expirience that is eaqally welcoming for single travelers, families and small groups.
Your guide has extensive knowlege of the area and is able to answer any question you might have.

Weather is everchanging here in Iceland.
So best to take along both good rain and windgear and good shoes.
Hiking shoes are best suited for Iceland’s rough terrain even on these day tours – If you want to get close and personal or get that good photo shot you might have to cross some rugget land.
